I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Why I chose sands to raise money for

Imagine seeing your pregnancy test and it says positive,  you get this feeling of excitement and nerves at the same time , you make your appointment with your midwife who then sends you for your first scan , you see your little blob of cells with a little flutter of their heartbeat , you start to make plans  start picking names , choosing colours for your babies nursery everything is so exciting and your thinking of what your baby is going to look like and sound like , can they hear you when your talking to them?.

You go for another scan , your excited to see how your baby has grown,  the sonographer who was so bubbly last time saying " see that fluttering? , that's your babies heart beat " is concentrating on the screen , pressing buttons , still silent , so you ask " is everything okay?"  They are still silent but then tell you they have to get their colleague and turns the monitor away from you!.

They return to the room with a doctor telling you their name and they have been asked to take over , they  too look at the screen and press the scanning wand into your stomach to then say , ' I'm so very sorry Rebecca , there is no featal heartbeat "

Your own heart stops for a beat and your hopes and dreams are smashed into oblivion.

This happened to me on so many occasions,  one of my children had ancephaly and my daughter was a twin , After so much heartache I have two beautiful miracles and now I want to give this charity every bit of help I can to support others who need it , so can you please sponsor me to help me to help them?.

Thankyou for reading this lengthy post and

Thank you to my Sponsors so far💙💛
