Sands Bake Sale - For Lilly's Birthday

I am taking part in Bake for Sands Event in aid of Sands, for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

I am doing it in honour of my daughter Lilly Rose-Ann who would have been 4 years old on the 30th June 2026. Lilly passed away 17 hours after she was born due to difficulties with what we later found out was congenital pneumonia. After a textbook pregnancy and Lilly being over 9lbs, it was a complete shock. Sadly this is more common than people think, as around 1 in 4 pregnancies can end in a loss of some kind. Events like this raise awareness of baby loss and get people talking, whilst also raising money that can be used towards memory boxes and other support for bereaved parents and families.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

The details of my bake sale are as follows: 
It will be held in the Denco HQ on Monday 6th July 2026, a variety of cakes, brownies, cookies etc will be available.
