I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Day 11

Thursday 11th Sep
Managed to avoid the rain today as we walked up to Grandma and Grandads house, then to shipley and home along the canal

Day 9 - 100k complete

Tuesday 9th Sep
Hope and I walked the final 11k today of our initial 100k target, time to increase the goal but a rest day is needed tomorrow!

Day 8

Monday 8th Sep
Legs are feeling it after today's walk. Hope and I trekked to Menston and back calling for a coffee in Guisley to break up the walk.

Day 6

Saturday 6th Sep
After doing 8.43 kilometers yesterday I was hoping to get around 15k in today but have done slightly less at 10 kilometers. Still all adding up though!

Day 4

Thursday 4th Sep
Day 3 was a rest day of only 1.41kilometers... today we hit our stride again but got very wet in the rain... 10.60kilometers.

Tuesday 2nd Sep
Lovely weather helped with the 15.15km this afternoon. Hope and I enjoyed ourselves spotting ducks, geese and swans along the canal.
