31 miles in May for Sands
This May, I’m lacing up my trainers and taking on a 31 mile challenge to support 'Sands' the UK charity dedicated to saving babies lives and supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby.
As a midwife, I’ve witnessed both the beauty and heartbreak that can come with bringing life into the world. No family should have to experience the loss of a baby, but when they do, they deserve compassion, care, and community. That’s exactly what 'Sands' provides, and that’s why I’m jogging.
Every step I take will be for the babies who never got to grow up, the families who carry love and grief side by side, and the hope that through awareness, research, and support, we can create a future where fewer families have to endure such loss.
Your donation will help fund:
Bereavement support for families
Training for healthcare professionals
Research into prevention and safer maternity care
Let’s do this together. Let’s jog with love, with purpose, and with hope.
