Naomi’s 40th Birthday Fitness Fundraiser for Baby Loss Charities
On 20th June 2026, I will be celebrating my 40th birthday in a very special way by hosting a fitness fundraiser in memory of my babies, Layla-Rose and Anthony Jr.
In 2024, I lost my twins at 21 weeks pregnant due to cervical complications. Layla-Rose was stillborn and Anthony Jr lived for just one precious hour in my arms. The support my family received during and after their loss was invaluable, and I know firsthand how important charities such as Sands, Tommy’s and Twins Trust are for bereaved parents and families facing pregnancy and baby loss.
To mark this milestone birthday, instead of gifts, I am asking friends, family and supporters to help me raise money for the charities that have supported us throughout our journey.
The event will take place at Shenley Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes and will bring people together through fitness, movement, community and remembrance. The afternoon will include fitness sessions, boxing, dance, Pilates, games and inspirational talks, all designed to celebrate life, raise awareness and support families affected by baby loss.
This fundraiser is about more than just raising money. It is about honouring the memory of Layla-Rose and Anthony Jr, supporting families who find themselves facing the unimaginable, and helping to fund the vital research, support services and bereavement care provided by these incredible charities.
My original fundraising target was £1,000, and every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference. If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to support the cause, I would be incredibly grateful for your donation.
Thank you for helping me turn heartbreak into hope and for helping us ensure that no family has to face baby loss alone.
With love,
Naomi
