I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I'm supporting Sands!

Why I’m Supporting Sands – In Love, In Remembrance, In Hope.
There are some journeys in life that no one ever prepares you for.

The loss of a baby, through stillbirth or neonatal death,  is one of those unimaginable heartbreaks that quietly reshapes families forever. 

It is a grief that often goes unseen, unspoken, and misunderstood. Yet it is real. It is deep. And it deserves tenderness.
I am supporting Sands because I have loved ones who have walked this path.
I have witnessed the silence that follows. The shock. The questions. The aching space where a future once lived.

And I have also witnessed something else, love that does not disappear. Love that continues. Love that needs somewhere safe to land.

That is what Sands offers.

They provide support for bereaved parents and families. They offer listening ears when the world feels empty. They create spaces where babies’ names are spoken, where memories are honoured, and where grief is met with compassion instead of discomfort, But they do more than support families after loss. They also work to improve maternity safety and save babies’ lives, so that fewer families have to endure this pain in the future.

I am fundraising because care matters. I am fundraising because no one should grieve alone. I am fundraising because hope can grow even in the shadow of loss.

If you are reading this and have experienced baby loss, please know: Your baby mattered. Your grief is valid. Your love did not end.
