I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

For our son, Carter Jack Hingley

Friday 2nd Jan
On September 19th, 2019, at 5.10am, I gave birth to our beautiful, courageous, silent, little boy. 
Knowing your babies heart has stopped beating and you can no longer keep them safe is heart breaking, your entire world stands still, all whilst you can hear new life beginning all around you. Knowing every second of your time with your child is crucial, as you know sooner or later you’ll have to hand them over and leave without them is soul destroying. Something no parent should ever have to do, but that was our harsh reality, and unfortunately so many other peoples too. 
We are committed to carrying on our sons name, raising vital funds for baby loss charities such as Sands and Forever Stars, as it’s the only thing that can make you feel remotely close to your child again, which is why I’m running 2k a day. If you can sponsor me, or even just offer words of encouragement, it is very much appreciated.
