I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk

I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Please sponsor me and help Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. If you’d like to join me on this challenge, you can sign up here http://www.fundraising.sands.org.uk/starlight-walk Starlight Walk events take place across the UK or you could choose to take part virtually at a location of your choice.

On the darkest of nights, the stars shine the brightest.

Our Little Bean 🫘

Saturday 17th Oct

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I’ve shared this — but I truly believe miscarriages need to be spoken about, not hidden away.

At 9 weeks, I learned there was never a heartbeat for our little bean. For three weeks after, I went through deep physical and emotional pain — quietly, and alone. I’ve never told anyone until now.

I’m speaking up because our babies matter, no matter how little time we had with them. No one should ever feel they have to grieve in silence.

That’s why I’m doing this sponsored walk for Sands. I want to turn those hard weeks into something gentle and good — to honour our little bean, and to help other families know they’re not alone.

Every step is for them. Every penny helps Sands support others going through the same heartbreak.

Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for being here with me. It means everything 💛
