On 3rd October 2022, while I was 28 weeks pregnant, I was involved in a serious road traffic accident. The following day, my beautiful son, Mateo, was stillborn.
Every year since losing him, I’ve wanted to honour his birthday by doing something positive in his memory. This year, as Mateo would have turned four, I’m holding ‘Dress Up 4 Mateo’ to raise money for Sands – a charity that supports bereaved families and works to improve care for anyone affected by the death of a baby.
Many people in our local community remember our story from when it happened, while others may simply want to support a cause that’s close to their heart. However you found this page, thank you for taking the time to read it and for helping me keep Mateo’s memory alive.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to Sands so they can continue supporting families facing the unimaginable.
