Our Angel 👼

On the 21st of January, our world changed forever.

After being taken into hospital unexpectedly, we were told I had developed sepsis. The infection caused my waters to break far too soon, and we were faced with the unimaginable reality that our precious baby girl could not survive. I had to go through a medicated miscarriage, a process that no parent ever expects or prepares for.

At 6:35am, our beautiful daughter was born sleeping.

There are no words that truly capture the heartbreak of losing a child. In just a short time, she filled our lives with so much love, hope, and excitement. We had dreams for her, imagined her future, and already loved her more than we knew possible. Though her time with us was brief, she will always be our daughter. She will always matter. She will always be deeply loved.

The days since have been filled with overwhelming grief, shock, and an emptiness that is hard to explain. Alongside the emotional pain, we are also navigating the physical recovery from sepsis and the trauma of losing our baby in such sudden and devastating circumstances.

We are sharing our story not only to honour our little girl, but also to ask for support during this incredibly difficult time.
