As you probably know, my gorgeous niece, Adélaïde, came into our lives last December a lot earlier than we expected. She unfortunately, also left us a lot earlier than we would have ever wished for her to go. 

The two weeks we shared with Adélaïde were high in emotions. All of the emotions. 

Sands have been a source of support, information and comfort in trying to understand what actually happened and to learn how to walk alongside Adélaïde every single day.  

I’m taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk for my niece, and all the other families affected by the loss of a baby.

Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.

On the darkest nights, the stars shine brightest. ✨
