I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Saturday 27th Dec
In March 2023, my partner and I suffered a miscarriage at 12 weeks. We went into our scheduled scan, blissfully happy that we were going to see our baby for the first time, to be told the heartbreaking news that there was no heartbeat as the baby had health complications.
For months after we had to undergo tests due to the nature of the loss, as well as myself having two surgeries. We then spent further months being messed around by the hospital; we then learnt that our baby was a boy, something we’d personally requested not to know but unfortunately were ignored by the health professionals there to help us. 

I never hide our miscarriage and can openly speak about it now; our greatest What If x
