Remembering My Beautiful Niece Clara
Thursday 14th AugLast year, my sister and her husband’s world changed forever when she went into premature labour at just 17 weeks, and their beautiful baby girl, Clara, was born sleeping.
Losing a baby is something no family should ever have to go through, but sadly it happens far more often than people realise. In the middle of heartbreak, Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) are there — offering care, comfort, and support to grieving families, and working tirelessly to prevent other families from experiencing the same pain.
This September, I’ll be running 50km in memory of Clara and to raise funds for Sands. Every step will be for her and for the families Sands supports.
