I’m running 2k a day to support my sister and other facing baby loss
My sister Nicola gave birth to Oliver who would be 21 on 1st January 2026.
She isn’t a runner but has set herself this challenge to run 2k daily to help Sands who support other families whose babies were also born sleeping. I’ve decided to join her (from a 240 mile distance), show my support for her. She is amazing and I love her strength.
A bit about the charity….
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
