Hello guys!
If you’re new here, my name is Leah and I lost my first born daughter when she was just 6 days old, Poppy in 2021.
I work hard to keep her memory alive and as a family we include her in our lives where we can, but it has been some time since I have done any form of fundraising for Sands.
I will be completing the walk around the hills on the 6th of September with my mum and my dog denzel, in memory of Poppy. It is an 18 mile walk, and if anyone really knows me, I enjoy the comfort of my bed and my couch a little too much, so help me get up and active in order to give back to sands!
Sands charity helped me navigate my way through loss in the initial stages of grief. They provide support for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. They aim to raise money which will go towards research in preventing stillbirths, miscarriages and neonatal deaths, and raising awareness around such a sensitive topic.
