Walk 100k in September 2025

I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

My Updates

Hello All

Monday 11th Aug

Here’s a heartfelt, blog-style draft for your 100k walk story that honors Jack and inspires others to support you:

Walking 100 Kilometres in 30 Days — In Memory of My Son Jack

This September, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and walking 100 kilometres in just 30 days. Every single step will be in memory of my beautiful son, Jack, who was born sleeping in April 2019.

Jack was — and always will be — part of our family. His time with us was far too short, but the love we have for him will last a lifetime. Losing him changed everything, and while the pain never disappears, I’ve found strength in sharing his story, keeping his memory alive, and supporting others who face the heartbreak of baby loss.

This walk is more than just a physical challenge. It’s a way to channel my grief into something positive, to raise awareness about stillbirth, and to help the charities and support networks that are there for parents in their darkest moments.

Why 100k?

100 kilometres is a big number, but it’s nothing compared to the journey of love and loss we’ve been on since Jack was born. Every kilometre is a reminder — of the dreams we had for him, the love we’ll always feel, and the importance of breaking the silence around baby loss.

How You Can Help

I’d be so grateful for your support — whether that’s donating to my fundraising page, sharing my challenge with friends, or simply sending me a message of encouragement. Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference to families like ours.

Jack’s Legacy

I walk because Jack matters. His life may have been brief, but his impact is lasting. Through this challenge, I want to honour him and remind others that it’s okay to talk about our babies, to say their names, and to share their stories.

For Jack — always loved, never forgotten. 💙
