I’m running the length of a Marathon in memory of Amelia and for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to completing 26.2miles for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

Well, I must be mad, because the thought of running sends chills down my spine, I've always hated running, I've never been very good at it, I've tried before and gave up, so in my wisdom this morning I've signed me and Martin Edworthy up to run 26 miles 😅.   I needed another challenge again to end this year and so here it is, the perfect opportunity to push myself outside my comfort zone and the thought of what we are doing this for will push me to do it like last year. I just hope my old lady knees will allow me.  If anyone would like to sponsor us again this year it would be very much appreciated.  We'll keep posting our progress.
