I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Why I'm walking

Monday 26th Aug
I really need to get my body moving more, for my physical and mental wellbeing. And what better reason than to walk in memory of my beautiful daughter Ivy. 7 month following Ivy's death we also had an early miscarriage, this felt like a "kick me while I'm down moment", but we had to accept this wasn't our time and continued trying to heal ourselves and our 2 sons. Fast forward 3 years we saw the arrival of Niall. He really has been a breath of fresh air to us and we thank our lucky stars.  Ivy is loved by her little brother, he knows he is special to have an angel sister 💓
