March was supposed to be a month of nesting in preparation for our new arrival. Sadly, during a scan, we were given the devastating news that our baby boy had severe and life limiting spina bifida which had affected the development of his spine and brain. This is every expectant parents worst nightmare. 

Baby Oliver was born at 21 weeks on 7th December and passed away just under 3 hours later. Leaving the labour ward with a memory box instead of our baby, and attending his funeral 2 days after Christmas are definitely the worst days of our lives, and every day since has been extremely hard. 

We really want to do something positive in memory of our baby boy. 

We will be spending March walking 100k to raise money for sands, a charity that offers an incredible amount of support to those affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
