My sister Kira and I are raising money for Sands, a charity that provides crucial support to families affected by baby loss. Sands offers comfort, guidance, and a sense of community to those going through unimaginable grief, while also funding vital research to improve maternity care and prevent future losses. Their work is life-changing, and we want to do our part to help.

For me, this cause is especially close to my heart as I begin my journey to become a midwife. I believe every family deserves compassionate care and support, no matter their experience. Pregnancy and birth should be moments of joy, but sadly, that’s not always the case. By fundraising for Sands, we’re helping ensure that no one has to go through the pain of baby loss alone and that real change continues to happen in maternity care.
