I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
I have experienced 4 baby losses - 2 early miscarriages, a miscarriage at 7 weeks, and an ectopic pregnancy. Sands provided me with resources needed for further information on what I was going through, how to cope with my grief, and a beautiful memorial box for Nellie who we lost at 7 weeks pregnant (although this is still classed as an early loss, I knew I was pregnant from the very start and had several scans, including one where we got to see her heartbeat). This is such an important charity.

Annual Leave Early Riser

Week 2 round up
Sunday 14th Sep I have had a calf injury over the past few weeks, which has slowly healed. To be at 48km feels great - plenty of time to continue the momentum! Annual leave week starts tomorrow so aiming for lots of walks and runs - hopefully the weather holds up! Share
