Kate’s 2k a day!!!!
Wednesday 24th DecI’ll be running 2km every day for SANDS baby loss charity — baby loss has sadly happened to our family and I know many others too. It’s a grief that changes you, one that doesn’t have a timeline, and one that’s often carried quietly, hidden behind a smile, while life carries on around you.
Every step I take is for the babies who were so deeply loved, some who never got to be held and those who never got to be held for long enough.
Now for the disclaimer; I am absolutely not a runner 😂 and with ongoing injuries, 2km might not sound like much to some— but doing it every single day (and fitting it around real life) is going to test me in ways my ankles are already worried about.
There will be sore limbs, emotional days, and probably some dramatic complaining — but there will also be purpose, love, and a lot of heart behind it. If you can donate, share, or support in any way, it would mean more than I can put into words 🤍
