I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly that has passed away and of course my own 2 boys.
Rory & Ryan developed Twin-To-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, I had to be given emergency laser surgery to separate placenta vessels to save both babies but unfortunately after I was able to move around after surgery I went into early labour that same day. One twin passed away whilst in the womb & the other only survived a short while, but passed peacefully next to his brother.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much as this Charity has a huge place in my heart after all the support I received after my devastating loss.
