Walk 100k in March 2026

I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

In June 2025, my world changed. I miscarried.

There aren’t always the right words for that kind of loss. It’s quiet. It’s invisible to so many people around you. You go to work, you carry on like nothing happened. But it’s real and you feel at fault somehow.

The world changes and you see things differently. You don’t even want to talk in moments because you can’t describe what’s going on physically, mentally or emotionally. You can look fine, perfect almost, at least on the outside while your heart feels completely broken and unchanged. As a mummy of one already I feel lucky. My Dexter who is 2 years old, i envisioned a family, a sibling for him and I still do one day but then I think actually he has/had one; they’re just not here physically with us. I know how deeply love can grow in such a short space of time and how fast it can be taken. From the minute that pink little line shows on that test, to the despair that follows.

Love doesn’t disappear just because the pregnancy ends. Neither does the emotional attachment.

This March, I’m walking 100k for SANDSSaving babies’ lives. Supporting bereaved families.

I’m walking for my baby.

I’m walking for my friends, those speaking out and those I hear silently.

I’m walking for the families who are in the  midst of it, I hear you.

And I’m walking because no one should feel alone in their grief. Your babies mattered an so do you.

This challenge isn’t just about steps. It’s about remembering what once was and could have been. It’s about love. It’s about turning pain into purpose.

I’ll be honest 100k in a month gahhh I might not win this. But I’m here and I’m willing to try.

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply cheer me on, it would mean so much. And if you’ve experienced loss too, I see you. Your baby matters, 🤍 and so do you!
