Sunday 14th Apr As March is over we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored me and Anoushka. We raised an amazing £728, smashing our target, which will help families a great deal in times when their lives are turned upside down. It was actually an enjoyable time thinking of ways to get the steps up like making the more active choice when deciding to walk or drive somewhere local, heading out to the countryside to meet a friend for a (muddy) walk, teaching my eldest to ride a bike (and keeping up with him when he finally got it!) Raising awareness of baby loss is also important to me as these events change your lives and having people around you to talk to, listen, distract or empathise is really important. Day out to Tower Bridge

Sunday 10th Mar Spending Mother's day doing a cat trial in Tower Bridge to get us walking about. Thinking of all the mummies and past and present. Our littles ones will be part of our lives forever x Share

Why Sands?

Tuesday 5th Mar Sands has personally helped me and my family understand how to manage baby loss. The information packs I received and the support groups that I attended were a great help navigating a very difficult journey. Share

What I'll be doing

Tuesday 5th Mar I'll be making the most of my days off and choosing activities that will keep my steps up (not just running after the kids!) Any suggestions for local walks let me know! Share
