I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Taking on the Sands 2K-a-Day January Challenge with Buddy
Saturday 27th DecIntroduction:
January is here, and with it comes an opportunity to start the year with purpose. I’ve decided to take on the Sands 2K-a-Day Challenge, walking or running 2 kilometers every day throughout the month. It’s a cause that means a lot to me, and I’m excited to share this journey with my loyal fur-baby, Buddy.
Why This Matters:
Sands is an incredible charity that supports families through unimaginable loss and works tirelessly to raise awareness and fund research. Their mission resonates deeply with me, and I want to do my part to help make a difference.
The Challenge:
Every day in January, Buddy and I will be hitting the pavement (or the trails!) for 2 kilometers. It might sound small, but those steps add up—and every step is for a cause that matters. Whether it’s rain, shine, or frosty mornings, we’ll be out there moving forward.
How You Can Help:
If you’d like to support Sands and the work they do, please consider donating through my fundraising page Every contribution, big or small, helps families when they need it most.
Follow Our Journey:
I’ll be sharing updates along the way—photos of Buddy enjoying his walks, and maybe a few reflections on what this challenge means to me. Thank you for cheering us on and helping us make a difference.
