I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

For ours and anyone’s baby loss
Tuesday 26th Aug When we started our conception journey, I thought I understood baby loss and the heartache that comes with the loss of the chance to conceive. I was so wrong. I knew of struggles to conceive, the occasional loss, but I had absolutely no idea that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss. And we became that 1. During our loss, so many brave women and men shared their journeys with me and assured me ‘our time will come’ which, fortunately for us, it did this year. I was lucky to have an absolute world of support, care, therapy and kindness, but not every one has that network at their finger tips. Charities like Sands support anyone suffering through baby loss and work towards saving babies lives through research and training. In September I’ll be walking 100,000 steps whilst appreciating the luck I’ve had to welcome our rainbow baby and reflect upon what we would have had. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
