I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
As a Man watching your partner go through the physical and emotional trauma of a miscarriage and knowing that there is nothing you can do is utterly heart breaking, sadly support for Fathers is so often overlooked. Trying to be supportive to your partner whilst trying to process your own grief and come to terms with the loss of a child you were meant to protect. Support for couples experiencing miscarriage is so often focussed on Mum that Dads will forget about their own feelings of guilt and loss, I want to encourage men to open up and remind them it's ok to talk.
I want to do my part and help make a change. That's why I've committed to walking 100K in March in support of Sands to help them support everyone experiencing the trauma of miscarriage. Anything you can give to support me with this would be very much appreciated.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
