I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Hi everyone 🖤 

I’m going to be doing 100K in September for Sands charity which provides excellent care and support for mothers, fathers and their families of babies who were stillborn or only knew the world for a few short hours. 
Of course this is extremely close to my heart, as a student I’ve delivered these babies, held hands of women and birth partners, cried with them, hugged the confused older siblings and supported them until they go home. 
Now qualified, I want to really ensure the future care and support of these women and their families so that such a heartbreaking time can be made just that little bit easier with memories that they want to remember like creating memory boxes, bathing their baby, the first photoshoot being made possible the list goes on! 

This is where Sands come in! They continuously care and support women and their partners throughout the bereavement period and process, giving light at the end of the tunnel 🖤 they provide so many ways in which Mums, Dads and their families can say goodbye properly and help create positive memories of their beautiful baby. 

I know money is tight, but anything towards such a fantastic charity would be appreciated so very much!
