I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’m taking on a personal challenge to walk 100kilometres from 1st March to 31st March in support of SANDS.

SANDS supports people affected by baby loss, working to ensure that bereaved families don’t have to face their grief alone. They provide vital support services, helplines, and resources, and they also work to improve maternity safety and save babies’ lives through research, training, and advocacy.

In the lowest moment of my life, when everything felt overwhelming and impossible to process, SANDS was there. Their support helped me feel less alone during a time when loneliness felt unbearable.

That is why I’m walking 100km — to raise awareness of baby loss, to honour every baby gone too soon, and to help SANDS continue their life-changing work for families like mine.
