I’m hosting a Rainbow Brunch to raise vital awareness and funds for Sands, the UK's leading pregnancy and baby loss charity.
Every day in the UK, 13 babies pass away shortly before, during or soon after birth, and at least 1 in 6 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Thousands of parents and families experience the pain of pregnancy and baby loss each year.
My first pregnancy ended in a loss, and I will never forget the heartbreak – the cancelled scan, the shattered plans, the desolate feelings of emptiness and failure.
While I'm one of the fortunate ones, now holding my beautiful rainbow baby in my arms, many parents aren't so lucky. Your donation, however big or small, will help fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death, and into how maternity care for those affected can be improved.
