I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

My Updates

our baby boy
Tuesday 26th AugOn Friday 13th of March 2023, my life changed forever when I lost my precious baby boy. It is impossible to put into words the pain of that day and the grief that has followed. Losing a child is something no parent ever expects or is prepared for, and it leaves a space in your heart that can never truly be filled. While time moves forward, the love I carry for him will always remain, and I want to do something positive in his memory.
That is why I have decided to take on the challenge of walking 100k in support of miscarriage and infant loss awareness. This walk is not just about the distance—it is about honoring my son, remembering all the babies gone too soon, and supporting the families who continue to live with this heartbreak every day. By taking on this challenge, I hope to raise awareness of baby loss, to break the silence that so often surrounds it, and to ensure that no parent feels they have to walk this journey alone.
Every step I take will be in memory of my little boy and for every family who has had to say goodbye far too soon. Any donations, no matter how big or small, would mean so much and will go directly towards supporting vital services and resources for those affected by miscarriage and infant loss. Together, we can turn grief into action, remembrance into hope, and love into lasting support
