Run 2k a day in January for baby loss charity 👼🏻💜
I’m taking part in a challenge this January to run 2km every single day for a baby loss charity.
I’ll be honest, I hate running, I am not a runner so this will be hard. But some things are worth doing even when they’re uncomfortable.
I’ve experienced pregnancy loss myself, and I also know too many women who have, including someone very close to me who lost her baby recently. I’m doing this for her, and on behalf of all women who have lost a baby.
Baby loss is still such a taboo. So often it’s minimised, ignored, or treated like something we shouldn’t grieve because “the baby wasn’t born yet.” But the love, the hopes, the loss, they are real. And so is the pain. 💔
This challenge is my way of saying: your grief matters, your baby matters, and you’re not alone.

Tuesday 16th DecLosing a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death is devastating, yet it’s often a taboo topic. Society’s silence can make grief feel isolating and invisible. Talking about baby loss, offering support, and creating safe spaces to grieve are crucial. Acknowledging this pain doesn’t make it easier it makes it real, and it makes those affected feel seen.
