I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Sunday 1st Feb
It's a wrap! 77k run (or occasionally walked with the pram). It's been out in all weathers, but surprisingly positive, I've found lots of new routes of around 3km that are an easy evening quick bit of exercise, and I've got a lot faster over the month. 

So, will I be running a half marathon next? Absolutely not! I salute all of you doing that madness 😂

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me, we raised money for an amazing charity, and thank you, finally, to Alasdair because without his help I would not have got far with doing this challenge at all.

It's been a tough January weather week, not very inviting outside. But I ran my 2k today with a spring in my step after hearing I am now an aunt! Welcome to the world little one, can't wait to meet you.
