I'm fundraising in aid of Sands, for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Let’s Help Save Babies Lives.

Hi, I’m Fin, 
The owner of Get Set Glow. I am fundraising through my business between 9/10/2026 & 15/10/2026 to raise money for SANDS. 

On the 1st of January 2023, I lost my first daughter to stillbirth. She was born at 33+1 weeks gestation, as a benign tumour had grown within my placenta and stopped blood flow through to her, which in turn, stopped her heart from beating. 
This pregnancy was even more special and the loss even more devastating as we had previously lost 4 times, around the six week mark.  

Evelyn’s story, our story, is something I will share forever - in the hopes that we can raise awareness and save other parents from this unimaginable loss. 

Through my job, I have always aimed to create a safe space for my clients and ultimately my friends, to talk openly about their own experiences. When you get talking, the more it becomes clear just how many people have suffered a loss. 
Nobody should suffer in silence and the more we talk, the more we share, the closer SANDS gets to helping save babies lives! 

During  my fundraising week, I will be holding both a raffle to win some beautiful prizes and also be donating 20% of my earnings this week. For all of the babies lost and for all of the bereaved families, let’s do this!
