I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk

I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.  Walking with Love: Keeping Hope Alive for Every Tiny Star
​This Starlight Walk is profoundly personal to me. I'm hosting it for Sands because I know firsthand the silent, heartbreaking pain of losing a baby but early on. I've walked that confusing, emotional rollercoaster, and my heart aches for every parent who is navigating that unbearable darkness.
​The reality that 13 babies are lost every day before, during, or shortly after birth is simply devastating. For me, this walk is a chance to turn my own experience of loss into a beacon of support and comfort for others.
​Sands is so important because they offer a lifeline—a space of gentle care and understanding when a family's world has collapsed. I am walking to help Sands:
​Offer hope that fewer families will know this pain.
​Fund research to help more babies survive.
​Provide comfort to bereaved families, ensuring they don't walk this path alone.
