I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.
Please sponsor me and help Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.
Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. If you’d like to join me on this challenge, you can sign up here http://www.fundraising.sands.org.uk/starlight-walk Starlight Walk events take place across the UK or you could choose to take part virtually at a location of your choice.
On the darkest of nights, the stars shine the brightest.

Hello from us
Monday 20th OctHello and thank you for taking the time to have a look at our fundraising page for SANDS.
Sands is a charity we have been connected with due to the loss of our darling baby earlier this October 2025.
It’s an unimaginable pain and ache for us both.
The charity has been there for us (and our family) with guidance from talking/ listening, and creative outlets. We have been connected to services near us and the surrounding areas to help us through this confusing, heart breaking and upsetting time.
We went from such a high of finding out we were pregnant living in a bubble of morning sickness, loving the smell of coffee and the taste of cheese on EVERYTHING. To suddenly devastating words that Pip was no longer a viable pregnancy.
A- had to have emergency surgery as Pip was an ectopic that caused some serious complications. Sadly, this meant A- was losing a lot of blood and also had to have her fallopian tube removed on one side. Although she is back home and recovering well, SANDS have been a guiding light for her. They have also shown us both the support they do in the local community and help for men navigating caring for their partners and looking after their own mental health and well-being.
We will be walking not just for Pip but for all darling babies taken to soon or who never got to be blessed with us being earth side.
If you have the means to do so we love donations so that SANDS can continue to support people like us and future families that may also need this support.
Pip was carried for a moment but loved for a lifetime.
