Driven for Little Lives 💗💙

This fundraiser is something incredibly close to my heart, and something I’ve wanted to do for a reason that goes far beyond cars.

When I was 18, I experienced the heartbreak of losing my first baby, who I lovingly call Baby W. I remember being in A&E, bleeding and being told that everything was okay, only to later find out that my baby was gone. It’s an experience that has stayed with me and shaped me in ways that are difficult to put into words. Although Baby W’s time with me was far too short, they will always be part of my story and will always hold a special place in my heart. 💗

My journey with pregnancy has also included other deeply personal experiences, involving difficult decisions and circumstances that I don’t feel I need to explain publicly. Not every experience looks the same, and not every loss or difficult journey comes with the same story. Sometimes people carry things that the outside world knows nothing about. Grief doesn’t look the same for everyone, and neither does healing. I believe everyone deserves compassion, kindness and understanding without having to justify their experiences or explain their choices.

These experiences are a big part of why this fundraiser means so much to me. I wanted to turn something deeply personal into something positive, honouring the little lives that will always be part of my story while helping other families who are navigating pregnancy and baby loss.

I’ve created Driven for Little Lives to bring together my love for cars with a cause that means so much to me, raising money for Sands, the pregnancy and baby loss charity. I hope to use my passion for my car and the car community to raise awareness, bring people together and help support families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Behind every story is a real person, with feelings and experiences that others may never fully understand. We should never assume we know someone’s journey just by looking at them. Sometimes the people who seem okay are carrying the most, and a little kindness can mean more than we realise.

This is more than just a fundraiser to me. It’s personal. It’s for Baby W, for the little lives that will never be forgotten, and for the families who deserve to feel supported, heard and understood. 🪽💗💙
