I'm fundraising in aid of Sands, for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’ve turned 50 this year and decided to set myself a big personal challenge, cycling 162 miles from York to Lincoln and back… all in one day on 30th May 2026, in memory of my son.

I’m fundraising for Sands, supporting every much-loved baby who is sadly not here today. 

Sands do incredible work making sure anyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the care and support they need during the hardest times. They also work to improve care, train healthcare professionals, and fund vital research to help save babies’ lives and prevent other families going through the same heartbreak.

This ride is my way of turning something incredibly personal into something positive. Every mile has meaning, and every bit of support really does make a difference.
