50k in September
Hi all,
I am doing a run/ walk 50km challenge throughout September in aid of Sands, for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
This is very close to my heart, as Johnny and I have lost two babies at 16 weeks, in the last 10 months. The whole experience has been incredibly hard and has been a difficult time for the whole family.
I would like to raise money for this charity for them to continue providing support to families who have experienced what we have been through.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
