I'm fundraising in aid of Sands, for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Myself and my partner Chlo have experienced this first hand when our beautiful baby girl Rosie was delivered at 23 weeks premature and was born sleeping. SANDS give a personal touch to all that have gone through this devastating time and do great work through donations and selfless organisers who work endlessly to ensure more support is available to families that need it.

I will be hiking 27.2 miles in one sitting carrying a 25kg backpack across rugged terrain this will be done at around 11pm set off and hopefully finishing by the birds start chirping. A Marathon is 26.2 miles. Being a former soldier we always did an extra mile for king and country..... this time that extra mile will be for our much loved Rosie.

Sands also ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Every baby should have the best chance in life and no mum or dad should ever be leaving a hospital with an empty car seat.

Please help with any spare change you can every penny counts. Understandably in the worlds current economic strain this isnt about huge donations its about helping provide vital support.

Our beautiful Angel princess Rosie-Ann Haynes who will always be apart of our familes lives.

Thank you to everyone in advance for your support and help in giving EVERY baby a chance and every family the support they may need.
