15k for Noah and his angel baby friends 🩵

I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

On September the 19th 2025, our baby boy was too poorly to make it to this world and I delivered him with help from the hospital. Receiving a memory box was comforting and I was able to take Noah’s hand and foot prints before we left the hospital. Something I will treasure forever. 

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

Tuesday 30th Sep
Tom and I have decided to run our own route and not join in an organised ribbon run event. 
On Saturday the 11th October at 11AM we will start in Billinge and make our way to The Maltings in Warrington. This will make it 15.289KM.

We would be delighted to see any of your smiling faces at the end. We hope you will join us to raise a glass for our boy 🩵

You may already know that I like to run every now and then. However, I have never ran 15K and due to being pregnant for the last 15 weeks, I haven’t exercised at all. That first trimester hit me hard. 

So, I think to run 15K in the next 2 and half weeks (just 3 weeks from losing my baby)  is pretty wild of me 🫣 and it’s even more wild that my partner Tom is going to run with me 😮 Tom’s athletic and keeps fit playing rugby and going to the gym but running really isn’t his thing. 

So this is going to be a challenge for us in every aspect.
