I’m jogging 31 miles in May for families facing baby loss.

I’ve committed to jogging 31 miles in May to remember every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

I know of too many babies who I should see growing up with their families but they did not get that chance at life.

Their parents & families continue with so much strength to get through each day, remembering their baby & what should have been.


Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. 

They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.

Couch to 5k

Monday 28th Apr
I started a couch to 5k programme, struggled & fell out with it on week 4 & not gone out and tried since due to self doubt.

I chose this charity to be my reason to give me an incentive to push myself as the anxiety, pain & toll that any jog may have on me, will be temporary & nothing in comparison to the forever pain & heartache that parents & families are going through when they lose their child 🤍 

I will get out there and push myself to continue with my couch to 5k programme, so I will aim to do a couple of miles every other day or so.

I hope I can help just a little in this difficult world x

I have been fortunate enough to not have to go through this devastating heartbreak but unfortunately I know many families that have & cannot comprehend the amazing strength it must take to carry on each day without your child.

I am so very proud of each person I know that have this heartbreak in their lives, yet share their story & share with us their name & allow us to remember them too.

With their blessing, I would like to say their babies name & add to my reason.
