I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

My Updates

For all the little heartbeats

Monday 15th Dec

I am not a runner, I struggle in winter months, and getting myself up to run every day for a whole month sounds like a huge challenge for me but let me explain why I want to do this.

Before this year, I knew of Sands, and I knew of miscarriage and loss in a distant sense. What I didn’t know was how deeply it stays with you, how it reshapes your heart, and how many people around us are carrying the same pain, often silently. Since my own experience, I’ve learned just how many families have been through this — pregnancies hoped for, futures imagined, heartbeats loved from the very beginning.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Sands, a charity that supports anyone affected by miscarriage and the loss of a baby. Sands offers vital support during the darkest moments, when words feel impossible to find and the world keeps moving when yours feels like it has stopped.

I’m running for all of the babies who couldn’t stay, but will always be part of our lives. For the parents, families, and loved ones who continue to carry their love forward every single day. Though these babies may not be here in the way we dreamed, they will never be forgotten.

This challenge isn’t just about the miles — it’s about remembrance, love, and hope.

I am incredibly grateful for any support, whether that’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply taking a moment to remember the babies who are gone but never forgotten. Thank you for standing with me, and with Sands, as we run for all the lost heartbeats — forever carried, forever loved. 💛
