Walking 100K for Angel

Sunday 15th Feb

In March, I’ll be walking 100K for Sands — in memory of my daughter, Angel.

Angel was my first pregnancy. I was 19 years old. I was young, but from the moment I knew she was there, I was her mum. I had dreams for her. I imagined her tiny hands, her smile, the life she would grow into. She would have been my little girl.

Losing her changed me forever.

Baby loss is something people don’t always talk about openly, but it touches so many families. I’ve seen friends and loved ones experience miscarriage, stillbirth, cot death, and babies born sleeping. It’s a grief that doesn’t disappear. You carry it quietly, in anniversaries, in “what if” moments, in the milestones that should have been.

Sands supports families through the darkest days. They offer understanding, support groups, resources, and they fund research to help improve maternity safety and save babies’ lives. No parent should feel alone in their grief.

This 100K walk is my way of honouring Angel. Every step is for her. Every mile is in memory of the baby who made me a mum first.

She may not be here in my arms, but she is forever in my heart.

If you’d like to support me, donate, or simply share this, I would be so grateful. Thank you for helping me keep Angel’s name spoken and remembered.

Always loved. Always remembered. 🤍
