I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands

I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Starlight Walk For Bodhi And The Little Lives That Never Took a Step

Walking a 10k walk on the 14th into the 15th of march for Bodhi and the other little babies that never took a step



There are some journeys in life that no parent ever expects to take. Losing a baby, before their first cry, before their first breath, is one of those. Stillbirth is a heartbreak that leaves a silence where a heartbeat should have been, and a love that has nowhere to go.

When we walk, we walk for him.
For the little boy who was so loved, so wanted, and so missed.
For the baby who taught us the true depth of love a love that doesn’t fade, a love that endures even through the silence.

So today, we walk with Bodhi in our hearts.
We walk for the babies gone too soon, for the families who carry invisible scars, and for the love that binds us all eternal, pure, and unbroken.

This walk is for them, for our little bodhi, for the babies we carry not in our arms, but in our hearts. It’s for the mothers, fathers, siblings, grandparents, and friends who live with the quiet ache of what might have been.

As we walk, each step is a whisper of remembrance. Each breath, a moment of love. We walk to say their names. We walk to remind the world that their stories matter. We walk because love doesn’t end, even when a life does.

For some, this walk will be a moment of healing, a chance to breathe deeply, to remember, to cry, or to smile at the thought of a precious soul who will always be part of them. For others, it’s a way to stand beside those who have known this kind of loss, to show that they are not alone.
