I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Why?

Tuesday 10th Feb
In 2014 me& Steve experienced the crushing devastation of losing our precious baby boy Kyree. Born 19/01/2014 weighing 8.1 everything seemed perfect; until 36 hours after birth he began to struggle; blue lighted to Bristol children’s hospital where the worse four days began, critically ill he was treated to the best of their abilities until he was moved to Glenfield Hospital on ecmo. There he began to improve and further tests were conducted and we received the news his condition was non life compatible. 
Hours later we were left with empty arms. 
Through the years since we’ve gone on to have our miraculous rainbow babies 3 of them along with multiple miscarriages.

SANDS do amazing work to support those who face this loss and this money will go a long way in supporting the families who experience it.
