I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Under the Stars, Remembering Our Babies
Wednesday 23rd SepAfter three miscarriages over 13 years, I always try to do a little something for Sands, as they are such an important charity to me and to so many other women and men who have experienced pregnancy and baby loss. 💔
This year, I’ll be taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk on the evening of 12th October. After work, I’ll be walking from my house into Watchet in the dark (hopefully in the dry! 🤞🏼), stopping for a quick drink to raise a glass to all the precious babies who never made it here with us, before heading back home again. 🩷💙
I’ll probably end up walking a little further too — I’ll measure the distance on my watch along the way!
