I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for our daughter Zethie Joy Olsen & every other much-loved baby sadly not here today.


Our beautiful daughter Zethie was stillborn on 11th September 2024 and our world has been turned upside down ever since. 


Navigating baby loss is incredibly difficult and at times you just don’t know where to turn. Thankfully there are some amazing charities who do fantastic work to support anyone experiencing the loss of a child, Sands being one of them. Sands has been a great resource for our family and so I have decided to take part in their March fundraising challenge to try and give something back. 


Anything you can give is so appreciated as it will all go towards supporting an amazing charity, thank you! Cx

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I did it! 

100km walked (/run!) throughout March for @sandscharity 

Over £700 has been raised for this wonderful charity and I cannot thank my friends and family enough for their generous donations. 

I wanted to do this on top of my regular day to day steps to really feel like a challenge and am so pleased to have completed it. It even got me running! Which I oddly enjoyed, especially under the stars each night. Of course I also have to shout out my most excellent walking partner Etta, as I couldn’t have done it without you.
