I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

The reason for my Walk

Tuesday 24th Feb
I will be completing the 100k steps challenge (aiming for 200k) for bereaved babies.  In March 2025 I was blessed with the news that I was pregnant and carrying twins🥰 Unfortunately a few months into my pregnancy I later found out I had a missed miscarriage and one of my babies heart had stopped and was no longer with us. This news was heartbreaking because it leaves you with all of the what ifs.
Fast forward to now, I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy on the 13th December 2025. 
You hear about things like this happening but you never think it would happen to you. A lot of other families may have experienced what we went through and I love the idea of this charity bringing everyone together who have been through similar heartbreaking events❤️
